Otis was sitting beside my desk, and I glanced over to see he was chewing on a hoof, so I paid it no mind, but when I next looked over, he'd eaten through the cord of my lightbox, which Arsen had left beside my desk after using it. I'd neglected to put it away. Whoops. :/ I don't think he would have gone for it if it'd been where it was supposed to be, or plugged in. But, as it was, he found what he thought was a cool new toy, and bit the plug clean off.

So, Milo and I have called it even on the pet-destroyed electronics. I will be getting a new lightbox this weekend.

This means that the Vincent card is now twenty dollars, and not the cost of the headphones. A savings of a whole two dollars... uh. Yeah, idk, guys. Animals are attacking!

A lot of stuff to get done today, and errands to run, so this is short. More later!

Yeah, one of our cats chewed up the plugin for my iPod when he was a kitten. I guess it looked just like any other string, and strings mean PLAY in kitten speak :P

Our dog chewed through at least two of our video game controller cords when he was a puppy. We were pretty ticked. Puppies will be puppies, though.

When our dog was a puppy she chewed through my cellphone charging cord. I didn't catch her so I shrugged it off and bought a new one.

I literally walked into the room as she finished chewing the new, expensive one up. I started screaming at her, picked up the wire, threw it in her direction, and slammed every door behind us as I chased her to the backyard.
She refuses to touch wires to this day. Like physically stops to avoid them if they are strung across the room.

It may seem cruel, but making a gigantic angry deal out of something may stop a behavior right on it's start.

This happened once to me with a puppy, who chewed through a 15Amp three conductor power cable in a matter of minutes. Can't you replace the cord? Lightboxes are expensive (at least all the ones I've seen are).
